Posted by Unknown Monday, June 06, 2011

Very impressive....this is what I remembered much about Karachi; a fun loving city !!! until extremist and corrupt people took over.

Port Grand is a multi-layered public space in the epicenter of historical Karachi, and is built around the premise of promoting positivity in Karachi and preserving its heritage, the restored Napier's bridge within Port Grand is an example of this vision. The site is located near the Jinnah flyover, MT Khan road. All social spaces at Port Grand will be open to the public, making it a place Karachi can truly own up to.
Port Grand Culture & Art (PGCA) is a team dedicated to supporting, developing and showcasing art, craft and culture. 'Art Lane" at PGCA offers indoor and outdoor art spaces to visual and performing artists, for display and performances. One of the main features of PGCA will be its weekly Art & Craft market, where individuals will be able sell their products and showcase their expertise. www.portgrand.com
