Sources just updated that Dr. Shahid Masood, CEO of Pearl Communications has resigned today in solidarity with his team, which was reportedly terminated by Hashoo group without any notification recently.
Although as told it is his own decision to resign but we must acknowledge that its first time that any CEO has resigns under protest due to illegal termination of his co-workers/journalists. On the other hand, sacked employees of pearl communications are telling that they even are not paid till yet and their duties are still not given but they have been terminated.
Can anyone confirm about these reports?
