A passenger (cancer patient) died on the way from New York to Lahore in a Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight, SAMAA reported Thursday.
Sources told SAMAA that the man died soon after the take off of PIA flight PK-722 from New York but pilot, Captain Suhail Tayyab, did not turn back to New York airport and continued his journey towards Lahore.
According to source, It took almost 13 hours to reach Lahore from New York and the body of the deceased passenger started to rotten and smell in the aero plane.
It has been learnt that the pilot, Captain Suhail Tayyab, is being interrogated on the issue by the PIA authorities.
