Pakistan Women Cricket Team won Gold Medal

Pakistan women cricket team has won the first gold medal for In the Asian Games at Guangzhou, Pakistani cricket team beat Bangladesh in the final by ten wickets. Batting first, Bangladesh scored ninety-two runs in twenty overs. Pakistan, in reply, achieved the target in 16 overs without the loss of any wicket. Nidha Rashid, in her all round performance, scored 51 runs and bagged four wickets. Meanwhile, President Asif Ali ZardariAsif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza GilaniRaza Gilani have felicitated women cricket team for winning the gold medal in the Asian Games. The President and the Prime Minister telephoned team’s captain Sana Mir and congratulated her on triumph in the final against Bangladesh. Describing the win as a big honor for Pakistan, Prime Minister Gilani invited women cricket team captain to visit PM house on her return back to Pakistan.
