Ladies & Gents: Salam-Alae-Kum,
Every Person(All MUSLIMS & even Most Hindus & Christians) from India/Pakistan/Bangladesh/Afghanistan/etc, residing in US/Canada/EU/Australia, Mostly Communicates Socially in URDU, & Listens to Urdu Songs & watch Urdu Movies....
We are 100% sure that same happens within India...
[Note: Worldwide, URDU is the Common-Language for social communications between atleast 600-Million(whereas Arabic is for approx 300-million...geographical-India from Hyderabad-Deccan upwards, Likewise communicates 90% in URDU...!!]
Actually, every Film made in Bollywood is in URDU & with URDU Songs(that are written by URDU "Shairs"... many of these "Shairs" are Hindus...)..
We Strongly SUPPORT BA's position below...
Therefore, we all MUST keep Raising this issue towards the Authorities in India, that have Decided to issue this Death-Warrant against URDU, by Removing it from their Educational System...
Best Regards,

Dear Brother's
hope you will be in best of your health and prosperity, coming to the subject URDU, AS MOTEHR TOUNGUE , for prepartition indian muslims, it is regarded as mother tongue of muslims of india as a whole, and it has a very deep association of muslims of bihar and up,delhi etc,
well i dont know how to react to your statement, since i dont know you personaly, i dont want to put hot arguments! and please refrain from such arguments at bihar anjumanbanner, your statement will not only cause differnces on the forum level but it may cause disassoication of few like minded people from bihar anjuman,
if urdu does not belong to the muslims of indo pak subcontinent, then belongs to whome? it is an irony to note that an educated muslim form bihar and jhakhnd has such a openion about the language called urdu, brother aslam should note that after arabic , urdu is the only language which has highest number of islamic litrature for a common man!
if i do remember , in my school age , i use to read a hindi peom written by munshi prem chand, called, MAA, in which the peot says that for any human being there are three mothers
1. mother toungue
2. mother who gives birth,
3. mother land where he belongs , althoug i dont agree with the poet on such notions on islamic poit of view but still ifeel that it is your mother tongue which gives you identity, and if you are good at your mother tongue you are bound to be good at other languages, because when you think you think first in your mother tongue!
ironically why do people judge the value of urdu in terms of monitory gain! even for english people the language of english does not become their source of excellelence,
for those indian muslims (from urdu speaking belt) who have migrated to states or uk, it may not be a language of their communication, specially for the new genereation, but still they feel they have missed some thing that is their root, and the essence of that root, mr alsam is the mother tongue, urdu.
i dont want to comment more on this issue, it may compell me to write pages and pages, ;some one has rightly said , nasamjhoge agar hind key musalamno tumhari dastan tak nahogi dastanomein" tha's what govermnet is doing!
for you brother aslam i will just say that, please refrain from such unproductive arguments which may give a wrong signal to the new generation! language has no boundary but it has its identity, and we are being identified though this language , alhamdolillah!
jo khushboo uri to phool faqat rang rah gaya< aur urdu hum aap ke liye khushboo hai brother , is ki khsuhboo ko bacha kar rakhey, why do you want to be a flower without essence,
i am sorry if my statement might have heart anybody!

I think that there should be a common language for the World as well.
I see that Barack Obama wants everyone to learn a foreign language, but which one should it be?
The British learn French, the Australians study Japanese, and the Americans prefer Spanish.
Yet this leaves both Urdu and Mandarin Chinese out of the equation.
Interestingly nine British MP's have nominated Esperanto for the Nobel Peace Prize 2008.
